Individual seminar attendance cost is $65 and is payable at the door. Those technicians registered for the entire series will receive meeting announcements by email and have access to seminar handouts on the DC Academy website in the Technician section. Also, the DC Academy will archive continuing education credits for series-registered technicians.

- Chronic Pain in Dogs & Cats
- Beyond Pharmaceuticals

Technician Program Chair and Liaison
Dr. Kayleen Gloor, Ellen Carrozza, LVT and Jennifer Withrow, LVT
Please note that printed handouts at the meetings will be available to only those who have paid for a series registration or have paid for the single seminar. Students who attend on a complimentary basis must access and print the notes from the website or receive them via email.
All attendees must provide their email addresses as we plan on distributing newsletters, CE statements and notes via email. If we do not have your email address, please provide it as soon as possible. If you are emailing us, please include your name and email address in the body of the email. Thank you for your cooperation.
The DC Academy has opened 4 remote viewing sites for its technician seminar series. These sites, listed below, will be live on the same day as our regularly scheduled seminars. The sites will have the same slide images and presenter audio as the main seminar site in Fairfax, along with a site facilitator. Remote viewing site attendees will be able to text questions to the presenter by sending a text to 703-733-0556. Remote sites will provide coffee/bagel/Danish in the morning and a boxed lunch at noon. Attendance at these sessions provide the same CE hours as attending the seminars at the Fairfax site, 5 contact hours maximum, three hours for the morning session (9:00 am to noon) and two hours for the afternoon session (12:45 pm to 2:30 pm). There are no printed handouts at remote sites so you must download/print the handout from our website (when posted) or from the email we send out the week before the seminar.
Pre-registration is required for attendance at the remote sites regardless if you have registered for the full series as space is limited and to provide the appropriate food/beverage service. Note: Walk-in registration is not permitted at remote sites. Pre-registration for single seminar attendance is not required for attending at the Elks Lodge in Fairfax. Please download, complete and return the Technician Remote Site Registration form by fax 703-742-8745 or email.
Download the remote site registration form (word doc).
- No walk-in registration will be available at the remote viewing sites. Pre-registration at remote sites is required by Friday, 5:00 pm, before the seminar on Wednesday. The registration fees for remote sites are as follows:
Free for paid seminar series registrants or student registrants
- $65 for single seminar attendees
All payments must be made by credit card. Credit cards will be charged on the day of the seminar and an emailed receipt will be sent.
